| one day break is not enough. i need at least another day. like today. uggggggh don't feel like working at all. and it's dark and gloomy and raining outside...what a perfect time to curl up in bed and snooze! =)
this weekend was fun!! i went out dancing friday night at bluechalk. that was entertaining as heck and i had a lot of fun. wierd people at bluechalk for sure. there was this one annoying drunk girl that was just all over the place. i got really annoyed at her at one point so i shoved her! she looked at me with a what the heck face but i pretended i didnt see her. hahahaha =) she was annoying! hate drunk obnoxious people. then there was this old man dancing. here i sneaked in a couple of pictures hahaha. he was totally grooving it and had some fancy foot steps! he was surrounded by many ladies. he was dropping like its hawt!

| so on saturday i volunteered at the Girls for Action (GFC)'s Spring Into Action event! It was pretty awesome! i was around girls again. hahahaa but they were youngin's and man, these girls are amazing...even though they might be limited in resources and unfrotunate in some ways because they came from low income neighborhood or whatever...these girls are strong, confident, smart girls! i had a chance to talk to some of the girls and there was this one girl, she was telling me about how hard her school is...then it was so funny she's like, yeah this one time my teacher gave us this one assignment and it was so hard that even andrew kim couldn't finish the assignment! she said it so causually so then i was like, wait, what?? who is andrew kim? and then she said, oh yeah andrew kim..you know kim...asian...asians are smart. you're asian, aren't you smart? and i was like O_O hahahaa lol it was funny. she was black. then there was this mexican girl who brought tobassco sauce whereever she goes!!! for lunch cisco provided food for us and she put tobassco sauce inside her lays chips and crush and punch the bag, rolled the bag open and ate it!!! daaaaaaaang...i couldn't help staring. that was kinda interesting and funny too. but yeah, interesting to learn about people's culture and their perspectives and values and stories. it was pretty neat. =) | | |
| my mama just called me and told me that she wants to have lunch with me. awww how cute =)
the other day, i came home from work wearing the new boots my sister gave me.
then from a mile away (well, not really a mile...but from a distance, from the front door) my mom saw me and pointed at my boots!
and she's like..."are those new?" (serious tone)
i said, "no, they're margareth's. she gave them to me."
then she kept on looking at it
and she said, "can i wear them sometimes?"
i was like, "noooooo, they're mine!" (jokingly)
she's still staring at the boots...
then she said, "are they too big for you?"
hahaha so i said, "nope! they're just fine"
and she was still staring at it
so then i just went to my room with the boots
and then she was like...yelling from the kitchen..."can you put the shoes outside so i can wear them also??!!!"
then i was just laughing out loud in my room. hahahaa my mama is so funny. | | |
| when i was in junior high, one of my favorite past times is to make prank calls to my friends and harrasing them. i also liked calling and then hanging up on guys i like too (i'm sure everyone had this phase). hahaha i find that i still like to do that, even now. not so much the call and then hang up on crushes, but prank calling friends and freaking them out =)
